From Fractions to Functions: A Comprehensive Journey
The new curriculum sweeps students through the entire mathematical landscape with energy and clarity. It starts with the Number System, where learners master types of numbers, the number line, positive and negative integers, absolute value, factors, multiples, fractions, decimals, and operations involving them — including tricky positives and negatives. No more confusion over signs or decimals; students report “finally getting it” after hands-on explorations.
Next comes Ratios, Proportions, and Percents — the secret weapons for everyday life. Unit rates, proportions, measurement conversions, percent problems, taxes, discounts, markups, gratuity, commission, simple interest, and rate of change turn abstract ideas into practical superpowers.
